No wonder sane Americans call it "Clownhall": Jeff Koopersmith examines the latest antics of conservative media's most openly racist pundit.
September 26, 2008 – Geneva (apj.us) – Today, Michelle Malkin – the puke-filled, narrow-minded, intellectually-challenged tart who writes for America’s favorite neo-Nazi website that laughingly calls itself Townhall – decided to pervert the famous children’s story, "The Ant and the Grasshopper”.
Malkin is such a sleaze that she made her Grasshopper into what appears to be a caricature of a minority American, and I suppose she thought of herself as the all-American Ant, striving to be the best and the brightest. Malkin, because she is Asian, assumes she can get away with making fun of less privileged minority citizens who don’t have the benefit of an elitist Oberlin education and access to wingnut welfare cash.
Of course, Malkin perverted the Ant as well.
Malkin has decided that the Paulson bailout and other governmental interventions to defend the economy deserve a rewrite of Aesop’s famous tale. She claims that the Grasshopper was a ‘good time’ insect and never saved or put food away for the winter. The Ant, of course, worked itself nearly to death – including paying off its student loans and working double shifts to do so. The Grasshopper, on the other hand, wanted to party.
It occured to me that many Malkin photographs and videos (such as the YouTube video of Malkin in her "cheerleader" fetish costume) would easily lead one to believe that this story is about Malkin herself and that she is the Grasshopper.
Malkin goes on to say that the grasshopper borrowed on the equity of his home and of course lost it to pay for its lavish vacations and escapades. The Grasshopper had a great time instead of working like the Ant.
Of course, by winter the Grasshopper had no food. The Ant was enjoying the fruits of its labor “dining comfortably” in its nest.
To Michelle Malkin’s sick mind, all people who lose their jobs, their homes, and their ability to buy food do so because they refuse to work and just party all the time.
But that’s just the tip of the metaphorica3 iceberg of Malkin’s mental illness. She next tells us in her psychobabble version of this story that the Grasshopper, who was up to its eyes in debt “limped” to what she calls the ‘Association of Community Winged Insects for Rescue Now’ and demanded to be saved.
Malkin the moron thinks that you will understand that the ‘Winged Insects Rescue’ group is ACORN, a nationwide confederation of community organizations that sticks up for low-income working families, runs voter registration drives, and has even exposed Republican-organized campaigns to disenfranchise disadvantaged and primarily minority voters. She goes on:
Get this: Malkin writes on that ACWIRN organized mass protests against the Bank of America, a scum megabusiness if ever there was one, which Malkin calls the Bank of Antamerica – how very lame. She says the Winged insects “ambushed” the banks top officials at their “private homes”, harassed their privileged children, and made demands that politicians stop all foreclosures.
The irony here is that Malkin herself is a stalker – who targets children – and then has the gall to insinuate that people who’ve lost their homes are demanding that the government stop their foreclosures even though the banks that lured them into impossible to afford schemes did so with the very intent of repossessing those homes and gaining huge profits!
Banks are stupid also. They believed that real estate was going to continue to rise beyond their wildest fantasy.
Malkin writes snidely, "We must keep Grasshoppers in their houses!" and outlaw discriminatory lending practices against starving, homeless Grasshoppers ("Well-stocked shelters are basic insect rights!")
Pay attention to her language – now she is zeroing in on the homeless and the poor – using the hallmark dog-whistle words of a bigot: “discriminatory lending practices”, “homeless”, and “shelters”.
Then this dimwit writes that the banks “capitulated” and the Democrats got “earmarks, grants, and counseling subsidies to support Grasshoppers with the shadiest credit and employment histories”.
Again, she uses all the Gestapo buzzwords for the illiterate audience she counts on: “grants … subsidies … earmarks.” Malkin is too dense to realize that it’s the banks who receive subsidies, are shady, and live on earmarks given to their corporate borrowers.
She zeroes on the poorest Americans again – this time using “Auntie Mae” as another race-based moniker for Fannie Mae. Auntie backs increased home ownership for winged insects in “the name of biodiversity” she claims – biodiversity being the code word for integration of opportunity pushed by both Democrats and Republicans against thieving red-lining bankers.
She goes further claiming that the media who focus on the poor are “profiling Grasshopper (Minorities and the poorest whites) sob stories and drumming up ratings as the bewildered Ants (White bigots) wondered who was looking out for them.
Malkin, believe it or not, paints the banks as poor victims of the masses. They “drowned in toxic debt. More Grasshoppers fell behind on their mortgage payments.”
Is this woman insane? Banks, insurance companies and other lenders didn’t go under because they made loans to the poor. They went under because the were criminals and perpetrated fraud on the entire financial world – not by selling poor people’s loans – but by selling tricked-up worthless paper over and over again to eager, but unsophisticated buyers. They became the BIG LIE. No one believed that American bankers could be so felonious. Yet they were, and still are.
Malkin, who will deny being the greedy, avaricial racist that she is, seals her reputation by calling the new insect leader “Barack Cicada” who hires the lazy Grasshopper as his tax collector.
Of course, the nasty (Democrat) Grasshopper comes to the Ant’s home to take all its provisions for the government.
Pitiful Michelle Malkin writes: “…it was the Ant who had the last laugh. “ I’ve learned my lesson. Why bother saving and slaving and toiling and moiling? I’ve spent all my savings. I’m walking away from my mortgage. Thrift is for suckers," the Ant said as it headed out the door, leaving the Grasshopper empty-handed.”
It is clear that Ms. Malkin must have spent time in the same prison camp as John McCain. Her mind is so twisted, so sick, that she believes banks are heroes and that the poor are poor simply because they are “lazy and shiftless” losers.
God. I pray thee, make Michelle Malkin dirt poor – so poor that she is revolted by her reflection.
