John Vincent Coulter

Jan. 10, 2007 – Geneva (apj.us) – Ann Coulter’s father, John Vincent Coulter, passed away this past Friday.

She wrote an exquisite column about him this week, and there is little for me to say but that I appreciate, all too well how crestfallen she must feel and extend my true condolences to her and her family.

A father, especially to a little girl, and even a grown up woman, is her first and best hero.

Her fine description of him made me want to know him better and provided some clues to Ann’s own path in life.

I lost my own father when I was a very young boy.

Take heart, Ann. He is very proud of you and will continue to love and watch over you and, as important, protect you from “Us Reds.”
