Rick Klein: Yet Another ABC News Whore for Bush and Cheney

Here's a Note for you, Rick: aren't 3,500 American kids dead and counting – plus 45,000 maimed or wounded – enough?

May 29, 2007–Washington (apj.us)–I have to snicker at Rick Klein's genius assessment of this week's (no pun intended) vote by Democrats Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Both presidential candidates voted against funding for Mr. Bush's Iraq war.

Klein wrote his prognostication in ABC News's laughable website The Note, a faux DC-insider tip sheet that pretends to give you everything you'll ever need to follow the 2008 elections.

Mr. Klein must be out of his mind to think – along with many of the dimwitted pundits to whom we must listen as they parrot him (or is he aping them?) – that voting against more funds for Mr. Cheney's private desert death trap will cost Senator Clinton any votes now or in the future.

The simple and obvious fact Klein missed (or "neglected" to mention) was that Obama and Clinton are the only two United States Senators with a snowball's chance in hell to gain the Democratic presidential nomination – which means, in reality, that only Clinton has that chance because we live in a nation replete with what the great Vernon Jordan calls "America's dirty little secret: racism."

Whether or not Senator Obama is the greatest thing to hit the boards since Jesus Christ – and he well may be – it will make no difference to the rednecks, farm boys, and white collar kloset Klansmen who overpopulate America.

Obama won't be elected to the presidency simply because he is an African American – shame on you all! And that's the bitter truth.

All you need do is ask the people who worked for Los Angeles' beloved former Mayor Tom Bradley. They will tell you that he polled highest in California when he ran for governor – only to lose to people who can only be described as idiots on the GOP side.

This leaves Klein telling us the Mrs, Clinton alone has now put herself in an awkward position because she was "pushed" to vote against Iraq war funding by liberal activists and John Edwards.

What is this screwball talking about?

Has Klein and the rest of the media already forgotten that the breathtaking Democratic majority in the House and Senate was achieved only because voters thought the Democrats would bail us out of Iraq now?

Klein, like other dummies, seems to think that the ten American kids killed only yesterday on the putrid sands of Little Iran make no difference as long as the White House keeps telling American voters that they are traitors if they "don't support our troops."

What on earth does keeping what is now 175,000 kids in that crudhole of malcontent, feuding Muslims have to do with "supporting" the troops?

And why does Klein refuse to report that Republicans have been holding small, panicked coat closet bull sessions trying to figure out how best to screw over Iraq (and other) war veterans? Witness the sorry state of Veterans Administration hospitals – and keep in mind that that is the symptom, not the disease.

The answer for Hillary Clinton should be quite simple.

She knows we must protect our soldiers as they leave Iraq. This will cost some big money – but not the gazillion dollars that our dishonorable vice president Dick Cheney has had set aside for his porcine pension from Halliburton. The only money our kids over there need is enough to charter four hundred 747s to ferry our boys and girls from the fire zone to the United States – as well as enough to cover extra jet fuel, bombs, and missiles for the Air Force to provide covering fire as our soldiers say "So long!" to Allah's Little Hell on Earth.

Kudos to Hillary Clinton and Senator Obama for voting the way Americans begged them to vote.

And not to put too fine a point on it, but screw you, Klein!

It is NOT enough to wait until the September round of carnage-funding while in the meantime another few hundred American kids are murdered.

And for what?

Let me answer that question for you, Klein, since you seem incapable of doing so yourself: For nothing.

Klein thinks he is displaying his political intellect when he chides Mrs. Clinton for making what he implies is a political blunder.

Let me tell you a fact – another that Klein somehow neglected to append to The Note. There's a guy on the Clinton team – perhaps the smartest man on earth in politics today – who must think that Mrs. Clinton did the right thing or he would have advised her against it. His name is Mark Penn. He knows, far better than Mr. Klein, Jake Tapper, George Stephanopoulos, or anyone else at ABC News what America wants – and it's not someone whining about "supporting the troops" at the same time he is murdering them.

In my opinion, Rick Klein, every mynah-bird journalist and/or pundit like him, and every member of Congress who voted for Mr. Bush's latest gift of serve-up-the-bucks to what Eisenhower warned us was the "military-industrial complex" merely to save their sorry political asses are all guilty as sin.

They are simply trash.

Worse yet, they are enablers to murderers.
