Paul Wolfowitz and Condi Rice to follow "big time" Dick into forced retirement as CIA Director Tenet brings home the bacon.
April 29, 2007 — Zurich (apj.us) — Gee, don't say we didn't tell you so!
For more than four years, those of us who have been "accused" of being (horrors!) Liberals – in the filthiest way imaginable – have been warning you repeatedly that everything about the lead-up to Bush's Iraq War was a fraud.
Well, I have only one word for that brigade of accusers: READ!
Read the plans that Messrs. Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, Donald Rumsfeld, Douglas Feith, and Dick Cheney made — years before George W. Bush ever took office. Read!
Many of my readers wrote that I have always been far too easy on George W. Bush when it came to the issue of Iraq – but the truth is I knew two things:
- Dick Cheney and his cabal are a group of the most evil people in America.
- George W. Bush is too silly, too ill-educated, and perhaps too pseudo-religious to start a war, kill hundreds of thousands, and destroy whatever little legacy he has left merely because Eisenhower's Military Industrial Complex must survive. In fact, the “Complex” can survive just fine fighting a never-ending war against Al Qaeda and Islamic terrorists. Boeing, Lockheed, and United Technologies can certainly earn billions on protecting us from being blown up by the latest poverty-stricken human bomb who thinks his life is worth nothing anyway – so why not die a martyr?
There is little sense in my repeating what you will hear, over and over again, from the media and the Democratic leadership: “How Dick Cheney Lied to Everyone, and How He Must be Impeached”
There is no doubt now that Cheney will “resign” – none at all.
So you can all hold your breath waiting for the announcement.
The important question is who will Cheney bring down with him? He isn't the type to fall on his sword for George W. Bush – especially because Mr. Cheney obviously loathes and disrespects the President, otherwise he would never have misled and made a monumental stooge of Bush for the past six years.
If I were George W. Bush, I would incinerate everyone linked to Cheney, Condolleeza Rice, and whoever else is left at the Pentagon responsible for pushing for the Iraq war under the Rumsfeld Regime.
Mr. Cheney should be tried for first degree murder – not only of our children fighting in Iraq, but of the tens of thousands of men, women and children he is responsible for murdering – all for nothing but money and power.
It's enough to make one support the death penalty.
